Advanced Woodwind, Brass and Percussion Players Wanted

The Grainger Wind Symphony is auditioning new casual and permanent players wanting a musical challenge.

The wind symphony gives about seven concerts a year, each with only five rehearsals. It rehearses mainly on Wednesday nights in Blackburn and performs around the CBD. Excellent sight-reading skills are essential. A willingness to understand a wide variety of contemporary art and classical styles, ability to play in a dynamic team and responsiveness to the conductor are some of the important qualities.
